Yes. That's exactly what the code example above does. When there is no sound, no circles are generated. When there is enough sound, circles are generated. It'll work best with music (aka sound across the spectrum) and there is a little tweaking possible. However if you have specific sounds (short, certain frequency etc.) you will have to tweak the sketch to pick up on those type of sounds. Do some research on the type of sound that's coming in, then it will be easier to create an audioreactive sketch. Just like you made a circle sketch first, make some separate audio sketches first as well. As a starting point you can take the examples in the Minim library.
